The Central line is experiencing disruptions due to its refurbishment program, with delays anticipated to continue until December, impacting its 200 million annual riders.
TfL commissioner Andy Lord mentioned the challenge of refurbishing the fleet, noting that snagging and software issues have delayed the reintroduction of revamped trains.
Despite the setbacks, Lord expressed optimism about an improved timetable by year-end and the gradual return of refurbished trains through 2025.
