The number of carriages will increase from six to eight on specific morning and evening services, starting on June 2. The services that will see additional carriages are the 6.35am and 8.35am trains from Swanley to Victoria, the 9.46am service from Swanley to Charing Cross, and the 5.25pm train from Victoria to Otford.
Laura Trott, MP for Sevenoaks and Swanley, announced these changes, aiming for increased capacity on rush-hour trains and more evenly spread out off-peak trains. She will continue to campaign for more capacity.
