Planned bus strike in south west London suspended after new pay offer
Briefly

A planned strike by bus workers in south west London has been called off after a new pay offer. The strike would have involved 40 control room staff based in Battersea and Twickenham walking off the job from May 8, but has been suspended for now.
The improved pay offer from Transport UK will be voted on by union members. The strike by staff working for the bus company, previously known as Abellio, was initially planned for May 8-10 and May 13-17.
