A spokesperson for The Glades confirmed that a 'suspect package' has been located, leading to the centre being closed until further notice.
Natasha Fountain, who works at The Glades, stated, 'All the alarms went off. We were told to get outside. The area has been evacuated.'
Visitors and staff have been safely escorted from The Glades, and the Met Police are currently on-site to manage the situation.
Natasha described her experience, saying, 'It's something like out of a film. I can't get into my car. My belongings are in there but I can't get to it.'
