Person in hospital after bleach thrown during fight at Richmond train station

Officers were called to Richmond railway station at around 2.37pm (24 June) following reports of a fight taking place on the platform and a chemical substance being thrown upon a person. Officers attended, and a person was taken to hospital with injuries that are not deemed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
Tests at the station indicated that the substance used was bleach heavily diluted with water. Enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to text 61016, quoting reference 389 of 24 June.
