No trains will run in parts of south London during October half term
Briefly

The upgrade work, part of a £400 million investment by Network Rail in south London, will disrupt train services from October 26 to November 1, aiming to improve signalling.
Network Rail states previous signalling updates from East Croydon to London Victoria cut delays by over half, with hopes that these new upgrades will yield similar benefits for commuters.
Passengers on Thameslink routes are encouraged to use buses, trams, and underground trains during the closure week, reflecting the extensive nature of the service disruptions.
Although replacement buses are available for some routes, paper tickets are accepted across London buses to facilitate passenger movement during the significant rail service upgrades.
