Emergency services were called to Worcester Avenue, in Tottenham, at 5.50am on April 7 after a man was found unresponsive. On arrival they found 46-year-old Okechukwu Iweha, who had stab injuries. CPR was administered, but despite the efforts of emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 28-year-old man was arrested in Croydon on Monday, April 22 on suspicion of murder. Detective Chief Inspector Neil John stated that the investigation is making good progress.
A post-mortem held on April 10 at Haringey Mortuary revealed Okechukwu Iweha's cause of death as a stab wound to the chest. The family continues to be supported by the Metropolitan Police.
