More flooding 'expected' around London commuter belt in wake of torrential rain

The Environment Agency has warned of more flooding expected in the London commuter belt following heavy rain, with 32 flood warnings in place across affected areas.
In the 48 hours leading up to Tuesday morning, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Warwickshire, and Northamptonshire received over 100mm of rainfall, with Woburn setting a new record.
Both London Northwestern Railway and Chiltern Railways reported significant disruptions due to flooding, with service suspensions and slow operations affecting multiple train lines.
