Medic was at side of stabbed woman in minutes - but she could not be saved
Briefly

A woman was found at the scene and treated for stab injuries, but died shortly afterwards. London Ambulance Service (LAS) has confirmed that its first paramedic arrived at the scene within two minutes. Ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and members of LAS' tactical response unit attended the incident.
Superintendent Tony Bellis, responsible for policing in Edgware, said: 'I understand the shock and concern this very sad incident will cause. I want to reassure people it will be investigated by a specialist team of experienced homicide detectives, and we will support them in their work to identify and arrest whoever is responsible.'
