A man was found suffering smoke inhalation and treated by the London Ambulance Service at the scene, before being taken to the hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, LFB added.
Ten residents had evacuated before LFB arrived. Over an hour after LFB was called at 1.36am, the fire was under control. Crews from Ilford, Stratford, and East Ham fire stations attended the scene.
