Police were called at 02:51hrs on Tuesday, 9 January to reports of a person in the road on the A13 in Barking. It was established that he had come off of his motorcycle. Officers responded with LAS and London's Air Ambulance and the man (no further details) was taken to hospital, where his condition is being treated as life-threatening.
On the A13, Alfreds Way westbound, delays of 49 minutes have been estimated between the A1306 (Wennington Interchange) and Spur Road. Congestion has backed up, affecting roads in Barking, Dagenham, Rainham and Redbridge.
