A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was killed in a double stabbing on a beach in Bournemouth. Two women from Poole were stabbed on Durley Chine Beach at around 11.45pm on Friday, in an incident which saw large areas of the seafront cordoned off to shocked residents for much of the bank holiday weekend.
Amie Gray, a 34-year-old woman, died at the scene, while a 38-year-old woman sustained serious injuries. Dorset Police arrested a 20-year-old man from the Croydon area of London on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
