Metropolitan Police officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle on St Barnabas Terrace. The driver evaded police resulting in a pursuit. The man was later arrested on Wardle Street for theft of a motor vehicle.
Wardle Street was temporarily closed, impacting bus routes for over two hours. The arrested man remains in custody as the investigation continues.
