TfL is inviting locals to take part in a free community weaving event to create a Weaver line roundel, commemorating the Overground's rebrand.
Dr Debbie Weekes-Bernard emphasized that the naming of the London Overground lines honors local history and improves navigation through the network.
The new artwork, crafted by local attendees, will reflect the rich textile history shaped by diverse communities along the Weaver line.
The Weaver line, set to launch in autumn, will highlight regions in London known for their contributions to the textile trade.
