Many were draped in Ukrainian flags and some held signs urging Russia to 'stop the war'. As demonstrators walked, some shouted 'stand with Ukraine' and women wore traditional Ukrainian wreaths.
Her daughter Anna said: 'It was a hard decision...my only friends were there.' Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski emphasized the need for ending the war and seeking peace with justice. Paper angels were hung to remember the children killed in the conflict.
