London set for hottest day of the year before thunderstorms end week of fine weather
Briefly

London is set to hit 26C on Sunday, what could be the year's warmest day, but thunderstorms may quickly follow, according to the Met Office.
The really warm air in the UK on Sunday is expected to be confined to southern and eastern England, with temperatures peaking around 27C in central parts.
Three yellow thunderstorm warnings are in place for Sunday covering areas of Wales, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, with significant rainfall expected in Scotland.
Areas with a thunderstorm warning should expect disruptions, especially to travel, due to spray, sudden flooding, and potential power cuts.
