Following a nine-hour road closure in Ladywell, police confirmed the cause as an alleged altercation on May 17, closing Bexhill Road from 9.30am to 6.30pm due to a police incident under the railway bridge.
Metropolitan Police confirmed being called to an altercation but found no one, leading to bus detours and school advisories; police cordon stopped driver and pedestrian access.
