Heavy rain set to bring floods and travel disruption
Briefly

The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for heavy rain, anticipating over a month's worth of rain to fall in parts of central England and Wales.
In some regions like the Chilterns, intense rain resulted in around a month's rainfall occurring in only four hours, causing significant disruptions to transport.
Parts of the UK are set to experience heavy persistent rain, while others will remain dry. A chill from the Arctic will follow this rain later in the week.
The amber warning covers regions such as Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, with forecasts indicating possible rainfall between 100 and 120mm, leading to risks of flooding.
