Greenwich named one of London's worst boroughs for speeding
Briefly

Greenwich was found to be the sixth worst borough for speeding in London, with one driver caught at 107mph between 2021 and February 2024.
Speed was a factor in almost half of fatal collisions in London, leading to devastating consequences according to Lilli Matson, TfL's Chief Safety Officer.
Havering was identified as London's 'speediest' borough with one driver hitting 144mph, while Westminster followed with 115mph, and Southwark, Harrow, and Kensington and Chelsea had the lowest speeds recorded.
