Fire crews tackled a blaze on the fourth floor of a 22-storey high rise in Spitalfields. Four people were taken to hospital. Half of a balcony and part of the flat roof were damaged.
One woman was led to safety and three others were treated on scene. A 32-metre turntable ladder was used to fight the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
