Doye's offending began in the 1970s and 1980s, abusing two children from the ages of six and eight. The abuse only came to light in 2021 when a more recent victim spoke out.
Victims described the lifelong impact of the abuse on their mental health, relationships, and guilt for not reporting earlier, aggravated by Doye's denials during the trial.
