Flooding at Hornchurch park sparks investigation

Havering Council is conducting investigations to assess the need for additional flood prevention measures along the River Ravensbourne, following significant flooding in Harrow Lodge Park.
The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning due to heavy rain, causing travel disruptions and prompting discussions on social media about raising the river banks to prevent future flooding.
Despite the flooding in Harrow Lodge Park, the London Fire Brigade reported no incidents in Havering but advised that the Council is collaborating with agencies for future preparedness.
