Family members call for release of Gaza hostages at London vigil
Briefly

About 129 hostages remain unaccounted for, with at least 34 of them presumed to be dead. The attack triggered Israel to launch a military offensive in Gaza, where more than 32,000 people have been killed. According to the UN, about 300,000 Gazans are facing famine.
Harel, the niece of a hostage, Michel Nisenbaum, expressed the dire situation saying, 'If he's alive, he's probably dying, you can't live with Crohn's without treatment.' She called for the British government to mediate for a hostage deal.
Chief rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis highlighted the somber mood, 'How different this Passover will be, from all other Passovers [...] but as we approach this Passover, our joy is incomplete.'
