Ex-Royal Marine charged with spying for Hong Kong found dead in park

Matthew Trickett, 37, found dead while on bail for spying charges, in an unexplained death at a park near his home in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
Trickett, along with two others, was charged with assisting Hong Kong's intelligence service, engaging in foreign interference, and monitoring UK activists.
Trickett, who served as a Royal Marine commando and an immigration enforcement officer, had also attempted to take his own life while in custody.
An ongoing investigation is looking into his death for any possible involvement of others, with the designation being unexplained, indicating no immediate signs of homicide.
