East Croydon station footway delayed again - 11 years since plans were made
Briefly

Since 2013, Croydon Council and Network Rail planned to invest more than 20 million into the development of an east-to-west footbridge, which has been delayed multiple times.
Menta has invested 15 million to build a new connection linking a new step and lift to an existing bridge, along with creating new public spaces.
The pedestrian part of the bridge hasn't been properly maintained and needs repairs. A schedule is being created to outline the necessary improvements.
Jason Perry, Executive Mayor for Croydon, emphasizes his determination to complete the East Croydon footbridge and open the essential pedestrian route without further delay.
