Officers were called to the line near Waltham Cross railway station at around 5.55am today, July 31, following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lines were closed between Waltham Cross and Tottenham Hale as police and Network Rail staff were on site. Officials have now confirmed the death of the casualty at the scene.
