"On Wednesday 17 January at 22:32hrs, a collision occurred between a police car and a cyclist on Bethnal Green Road, E2. 'Officers alongside paramedics from the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the scene, the 36-year-old man's injuries were assessed and were confirmed as non-life-threatening or changing. Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.'
We sent resources including an ambulance crew a medic in a fast-response car to the scene. We treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a major trauma centre.
