The museum has conducted UXO studies on the Bloomsbury site and there are areas where there is a noted medium risk' of unexploded ordnance, with a particular focus on the east side of the site.
Officials at Camden ruled the plans will cause less than substantial harm to the Grade I-listed museum and the wider Bloomsbury conservation area.
