Twelve fire engines and around 80 firefighters were called to Woodley Close in Tooting at around 8.30 am. Two flats on the first and second floors of a three-storey residential block are currently on fire.
Approximately 20 people left the building before firefighters arrived. A number of people have been assessed for smoke inhalation on the scene.
