A40 closures: one of London's major roads will partially close for three months
Briefly

The A40 between Paddington and North Kensington will undergo maintenance work from July 21 to mid-October, leading to road closures. Drivers are advised to expect diversion routes to become 'extremely busy'. Traffic will be redirected via Wood Lane and Uxbridge Road, with updates available on the TfL website.
Work on the A40 will occur in two phases, with closures including the eastbound slip road from the Westway Roundabout and the A3220 West Cross Route southbound, as well as the westbound on slip from the A3220 West Cross Route. Notting Hill Carnival will see work put on hold to minimize disruption.
