A baking heatwave and massive 'pollen bomb' will strike London this week
Briefly

According to the Met Office, the high temperatures and dry conditions mean London will experience very high pollen counts this week - a 'pollen bomb', if you will.
The pollen count is predicted to be 'very high' from today until Friday. Grass pollen, nettle, dock, plantain, spores like Alternaria & Cladosporium, and Leptosphaeria after rain are expected.
The summery weather in London will continue, with temperatures reaching 27°C today, and hot, dry conditions with sunny spells throughout the week, except for some light rain on Thursday night leading to cooler temperatures.
While enjoying the warm weather, it's advised to stock up on nasal sprays and hayfever tablets due to the impending high pollen count. Be prepared for a sniffly week ahead.
