1940s steam train to pass through south east London this week

The Clan Line 35028 locomotive, a 76-year-old steam engine, will haul vintage Pullman dining carriages through south east London on a trip to Kent.
Built in 1948, the locomotive was part of routes run by the Southern Region of British Railways and became the first Merchant Navy locomotive to pass over the Royal Albert Bridge.
This week, the vintage steam train will journey from London Victoria to Dover Priory, offering passengers a chance to dine in luxurious Pullman carriages.
