Some in the White House are irritated with Hunter Biden because he has begun to mount an aggressive legal and PR strategy and has not consulted the West Wing.
Still, others connected with the president think that Hunter's new aggression is the correct strategy. The American public likes to see people fight back, Jamal Simmons a former communications director for Vice President Kamala Harris told Politico.
Conversely, some in the Hunter Biden camp question whether Hunter's interests are aligned with his father's. They believe the White House is willing to cut the president's son loose, if need be.
