Rep. Tim Burchett of Tennessee stated, "I think it's too late... I think he's impeached himself." His comments underscore the sentiment that the impeachment effort has lost traction.
The impeachment inquiry, based on Biden's alleged financial benefit from Hunter's business dealings, had largely dwindled, despite initial unanimous support for the inquiry among Republicans.
