Last week Donald Trump became the first former or serving US president to have been convicted of a crime. He was found to have falsified business records to hide 'hush money' paid to cover up a sex scandal he feared would hinder his run for office in 2016.
Many said they did not care about the outcome and that it had only confirmed their voting intentions for or against Trump. With a small number of voters enough to make a big difference, Michael Safi asks what Biden can do to shift the dial.
