Qatar has been added to a growing list of countries from which federal prosecutors say New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez allegedly took bribes.
Because the Supremacy Clause just doesn't exist in the minds of Texans, the state argued that its abortion ban superseded federal law and the Fifth Circuit agreed because it's the Fifth Circuit.
The appeal comes after the federal government sued Texas last week, claiming that it was trying to usurp federal authority to regulate immigration.
