The Acolyte series in Star Wars features several LGBTQ+ characters, including twin sisters Osha and Mae, portrayed by Amandla Stenberg, and Ensign Eurus played by Abigail Thorn.
Director Leslye Headland hinted at iconic Star Wars characters being part of the LGBTQ+ community, with R2-D2 playfully suggested as a “canon” lesbian.
