A high school history teacher in Ohio is suing his school district after being asked to remove an anti-hate flag featuring LGBTQ+ colors. The flag, which included the slogan "Hate Has No Home Here," was displayed in his classroom since August 2022. Following the passage of the Parents' Bill of Rights law, the school board president requested its removal. The principal initially declined to enforce this request, but the teacher was warned that refusal to comply with a potential school board vote could lead to insubordination charges.
