In partnership with All Nations housing co-operative, Sydney city council, and Common Equity NSW, seven properties will be provided at a discount for at-risk transgender women.
Low to moderate-income trans women will benefit from this housing co-op, aiming to address the housing insecurity faced by transgender individuals.
Inspired by a group of trans women, the All Nations housing co-operative will engage in the development stages to ensure safe and affordable housing tailored for trans women.
Properties obtained at a reduced cost through the council's excess land scheme will be utilized to support marginalized groups, with a focus on the transgender community in this initiative.
