Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown's contract extension will run through the 2026-2027 season with an annual raise to $8.5 million, his agent confirmed to ESPN.
Brown played a crucial role in the Kings' recent success, including ending a 16-year playoff drought and securing a 94-70 record over the past two seasons.
He led the Kings to their first Western Conference playoffs in 18 years, achieving a 48-34 record and securing a No. 3 seed before being eliminated by the Golden State Warriors.
Brown, a two-time NBA Coach of the Year, previously had coaching stints with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers.
