Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that his back tightened up during the game on Saturday so they felt it was better for him to exit as a precautionary measure.
Roberts said that Ohtani's injury was considered minor so the hope is that he won't be out for too long.
If anything, he will get a day of rest and they will hopefully get him back in time for their series against the San Francisco Giants this week.
