Really all that matters in terms of this random game in the middle of June is the health of Yamamoto. Things seemed off early, as after having his start pushed back a couple days, his stuff was down a tick or two across the board.
After Yohan Ramirez got a scoreless 5th, Blake Treinen entered in the 6th and labored. He walked the bases loaded and eventually gave up a grand slam to MJ Melendez to put the Royals up 5-2.
