Player, manager, and coach uniforms will feature No. 4 decals in Yankees colors, red '4-ALS' wristbands, and other tributes such as base jewels and lineup cards in support of Lou Gehrig Day.
MLB plans a day of content, fundraising, and on-field tributes to honor Gehrig, with an illuminated '4' in broadcast booths, pregame ceremonies, special videos narrated by Sarah Langs, and localized club-specific activations.
MLB Network will pay tribute to Gehrig through studio programming and a special tribute video narrated by Sarah Langs honoring those who have succumbed to ALS. MLB.com and social media platforms will also feature tribute videos throughout June 2.
A charitable auction will run from June 2, offering unique MLB authenticated autographed Lou Gehrig Day TOPPS NOW cards benefiting The Sean M. Healey & AMG Center for ALS, with Langs selecting players honored by various clubs.
