Los Angeles Dodgers Trade For Jose Hernandez
Briefly

The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired Jose Hernandez from the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for cash considerations. Ryan Brasier was transferred to the 60-day injured list to make room on the Dodgers' 40-man roster.
Hernandez, originally signed by the Dodgers in 2016, was selected by the Pirates in the 2022 Rule 5 Draft. He had a 1-3 record, 4.97 ERA, and 1.36 WHIP in 2023 MLB debut.
Jose Hernandez has spent parts of seven seasons in the Minors, with a 17-10 record, 3.65 ERA, and 258 strikeouts. He struggled with a 7.04 ERA in Triple-A Indianapolis.
Hernandez has three Minor League option years left, giving the Dodgers flexibility to add him to the active roster. Stay updated with Dodgers news on Dodger Blue YouTube channel.
