The Los Angeles Dodgers secured a series win over the Tampa Bay Rays, showcasing the rookie duo of Gavin Stone and Hunter Feduccia in a 3-1 victory.
"Just mixing off-speed, fastball. Found the right time for certain pitches and Feddy did a great job calling the game," Stone said of his success.
"Going into we had a good game plan. Sinker was working well, just the back-and-forth game with the sinker and slider, and mixing in the changeup," Feduccia noted.
Feduccia mentioned, "I think the sinker is a big part of his game now," referring to Stone's evolution as a pitcher since their time in the Minors.
