Gavin Stone's season is officially over as he has been transferred to the 60-day injured list due to right shoulder inflammation, clearing space for newcomer Edgardo Henriquez.
Stone, with an impressive record of 11-5 and a 3.53 ERA in 25 starts, was a frontrunner for Rookie of the Year before his injury derailed his promising season.
Manager Dave Roberts indicated that Stone was 'very unlikely' to return this season, as he hadn’t been able to throw effectively during his rehabilitation.
Edgardo Henriquez, after a remarkable progression through the minors, has been called up to potentially strengthen the Dodgers' chances in the postseason.
