According to Goal Italia's Romeo Agresti, Motta is expected to sign his contract with Juventus at some point next week... But, much like a transfer that is about to be announced, we are now heading into #MottaWatch because we've gotten one of the first stories about when Juventus' new manager is going to sign his deal.
Motta is expected to sign a three-year contract through 2027 and earn as much as €5 million a season with Juventus. As other teams scramble to either cut down on manager candidates or even try and negotiate a deal with their first, second or third choice, Juventus locking in Motta early and bringing him in early in June is a pretty refreshing thing to see happen.
