CD Projekt's joint CEO Michał Nowakowski stated in a press release that preproduction for Project Polaris is nearing completion, marking a significant milestone for the upcoming Witcher title.
In an earnings video, CFO Piotr Nielubowicz noted that substantial progress has been made in the first half of 2024, bringing the development team close to entering full production for Project Polaris.
Nowakowski mentioned the Boston studio is busy laying the groundwork for Project Orion, which will be a new game set in the Cyberpunk universe.
He acknowledged the vibrant modding community for The Witcher 3, highlighting that many interesting projects have emerged since the release of the REDkit modding tools.
