Here's What We Learned From the First State of HTML Survey
Briefly

The feature that came in first in terms of positive sentiment was datalist, with 55.4% positive sentiment and only 3.9% negative sentiment.
Datalist is a not-so-new element that lets you create an autocomplete/typeahead component without any JavaScript, still quite handy and easier to implement correctly.
Favorites included the newly-baselined Popover API and its cousin, the dialog element, both emulating features developers often relied on JavaScript for.
Despite the embrace of JavaScript frameworks, respondents preferred letting browsers handle tasks, evident in the survey results.
