The two students, Alexander Sherbrooke and Iakov Taranenko, exploited an API for the machines' app to remotely command them without payment and update a laundry account with millions of dollars.
Despite not responding to the students' report, CSC ServiceWorks quietly corrected the false millions in the accounts after being contacted.
